Our Story

Hi, I’m Brittany, I’m 38 years old and I’ve been living with POTS for the last six years, and it changed everything about how I move through the world. POTS isn’t just “feeling dizzy sometimes.” It can affect your heart rate, circulation, hydration, and energy all at once so even basic daily life can feel unpredictable. Some days, it starts the moment I wake up: fatigue that doesn’t match how much I slept, lightheadedness when I stand, and brain fog that makes it hard to focus.

Other days, it’s the way my body reacts to things most people don’t think twice about—heat, stress, being on my feet too long, not drinking enough, even a busy day with my family. There are moments where I’ve had to sit down unexpectedly, slow everything down, and work hard just to feel steady again.

Living with POTS forces you to think about hydration differently. It’s not a “nice-to-have.” It’s part of managing life. But what I found was frustrating: the options on the market either didn’t feel clean enough, didn’t feel supportive enough, or weren’t built for the reality of daily, long-term use. I didn’t want something that was just trendy. I wanted something I could trust—something consistent, effective, and made with intention.
That’s why I decided to build HYZEN.
HYZEN wasn’t created in a boardroom. It was created from lived experience—trial and error, research, and the constant question of, “What would actually help someone like me get through a normal day with more stability?” I wanted HYZEN to feel clinical and credible, but still approachable. I wanted it to taste good, be easy to use, and fit into real life. Most importantly, I wanted it to be clean—because when you’re using something every day, quality matters.
This is personal for me. I know what it feels like to miss out on plans, to have to explain symptoms that are invisible, and to push through days that look fine on the outside but feel hard on the inside. My hope is that HYZEN becomes a reliable part of someone’s routine—the thing they reach for when they’re trying to feel more steady, more supported, and more in control of their day.
HYZEN is family-owned and built with care here in Louisiana. We’re committed to doing this the right way—no shortcuts, no compromises on ingredient integrity, and no losing sight of the people we’re building this for.
